The two hour show structure
Run in twenty minute blocks. Each block covers one product: hook, demo, objection, offer, close. Pin the product at the start of the block and unpin at the end so the basket icon always matches what you are holding. Repeat the block for the next item.
Most viewers watch for under two minutes. That means your show is really thirty separate two minute adverts stitched together. Every block needs a full reset of price, delivery time and what the product actually does. Assume nobody heard the last one.
Set up before you press go
Link the TikTok Shop catalogue to the account hosting the LIVE, load the products into the LIVE showcase in advance and check stock covers a sell out. Nothing kills a room faster than a pinned product that shows sold out ninety seconds into the demo.
Staff it with two people. One hosts, one runs comments, pins products, restocks the table and watches the LIVE dashboard. Solo hosting caps your revenue because the host ends up reading comments in silence. Silence is when viewers leave.
The numbers to judge it on
Track gross revenue per thousand views, average watch time and comment rate. GPM is the metric TikTok sellers plan against. Reported figures from UK sellers sit in a very wide band, so treat any published number as a range and set your own baseline from your first ten shows.
Your first five LIVEs will lose money on time. That is the cost of learning where the room drops off. Judge the channel after twenty shows, when you have a repeatable slot, a warmed audience and a host who is comfortable on camera.
